dr. Oop - "Circle City Classic/Safe In Sound"

Written by  | 03 March 2016

I Like Droop Capone. He's my kind of hip hop. Just dude being dude. No pretense. His earliest appearance on wax was the 3rd release on Thes One's label PUTS Records way back in 1998, the EP Nommo Warfare. Since then he's had about 4 albums and a grip of 12" singles. He even got in early on the 45 scene back in  2003 with the sex track Punan Puffessa and another 3 after that odd tune. This new release doesn't contain new tracks, instead they have both been pulled from his 2010 LP The Grateful Dead. Both tracks produced by Ear Dr.Umz the MetroGnome, with Safe in Sound featuring female emcee Rogue Venom.

Cop it here via Ear Dr.Umz's Bandcamp or via dr.Oop's Bandcamp.

I like records...and lots of films. To show how well rounded I am...I also READ (and write) about records...and lots of films. I also play records...and watch lots of films.
