Though originally released back in 2008 as a sampler track on a limited edition CD from producer Gold Coast, Queensland, M-Phazes, it did end up reworked for his CD/Cassette release, 2012's LP Phazed Out. Though mysteriously in 2008 it also managed a 12" release on a promo vinyl with dirty version, instrumental and acapella via a European source. Oddly enough the RZA produced Bobby Digital track U Can't Stop Me Now with Inspectah Deck was on the flip.
Cue 2016 and Brooklyn label Coalmine return to the Record Store Day phenom with a new Limited 45. Their previous RSD release was in 2014 with Pharoah Monch's Get Down, also produced by M-Phazes. The Perfect Timing 45 is pressed on blue wax and the paper label recreates the classic Electra look, just as the front cover also incorporates a design inspired by the Pete Rock & CL Smooth logo. Glad this was issued on 45 (with instrumental), but disappointed that Swedish producer's Max I Million's worthy remix with DJ Devastate is only being used as a promotional tool for the 45 and wasn't included on the actual release.
