Pat Van Dyke - Two Sides (DJ Spinna Remix]

Written by  | 29 July 2015

A smooth new release coming forth from PVD Music sees the legendary DJ Spinna take on a track from multi instrumentalist Pat Van Dyke's 2013 album Right On Time. The release is completely instrumental, and while there is no denying the talent of Van Dyke, the remix of Two Sides provided by Spinna certainly gives it a fresh Hip Hop feel with snapping snares and kicks, before settling into a half time beat towards the end with atmospheric pads and keys. It's a mellow affair, but definately a quality journey and suitable for those early vibe creating sets at the bar.

To make the package more compelling, the B Side sees a remix from Van Dyke himself, chopping up Frequency into a smooth late night eighties R&B instrumental slow burner. The release is also accompanied by a 10 track digital compilation of remixes from various producers around the world.
