Nautilus - Nautilus

This Japanese trio named themselves after the Bob James classic from his 1974 LP 'One'. So it's only reasonable that they would do a cover version, though it's a far more traditional version than 3 of my favourite interpretations as created by Nu-Yorican Soul, Blundetto and The Simonsound.

The flip is a wonderful take on Roy Ayer's 'We Live in Brooklyn, Baby'. Most famously sampled back in 1992 by The Beatnuts for Chi-Ali's 'Age Ain't Nothin' But A #'. Both solid interpretations of two everlasting tunes.

For Bob James completists perhaps.
